The assessment report will be between 25- 30 pages long. It will cover:

• Background information, including health, developmental and educational history.

• Tests of language and reasoning skills, processing speed, phonological awareness and working memory.

• Tests of reading, writing and spelling.

• Confirmation of the diagnostic decision.

• Recommendations, including examination access arrangements, classroom, individual/ specialist teaching and home recommendations.

• Onward referrals to other specialists if necessary

• Summary of table of results.

• Details of the tests used will be included for reference

• Links to books, websites and resources for home and classroom use.
